Nielsen’s global leadership team includes diverse leaders focused on empowering the media industry with independent data and insights that represent all audiences.
Sujit Das Munshi is Nielsen’s Gracenote General Manager, responsible for leading the world’s leading entertainment data and technology company, across 85 countries in 35 languages, overseeing a team of over 2,700 Gracenote colleagues across 31 countries. He was appointed to this role in November 2022.
Sujit joined Nielsen 24 years ago as an Associate Vice President of RMS Operations of ACNielsen and since then has held several leadership roles in India, Asia Pacific and the U.S. Most recently, Sujit served as Chief Content Officer and Head of Operations leading Gracenote’s content and Nielsen Sports Operations hubs globally.
Previously, Sujit served as the Global Talent Engagement and Development leader for Nielsen where he developed and executed a global talent strategy to support talent and leadership development. This was preceded by a role leading Nielsen’s strategic partnership with Facebook in pioneering Media Advertising Effectiveness products.
Sujit was a Managing Partner and co-founder of IRIS (Indian Research and Information Services), a startup focused on the telecom industry straddling strategic consulting services, brand research and customer satisfaction measurement. In September 1998, the company merged with AC Nielsen ORG-MARG.
Sujit has a Bachelor of Science degree from G.N. Khala College and a Masters in Marketing Management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies of the University of Bombay.
Tina Wilson
Group General Manager, Portfolio Analytics
Tina Wilson is Nielsen’s Portfolio Analytics and Ecosystem Partnerships Group General Manager. She’s responsible for helping local, national and global media buyers and sellers grow through data-driven insights, including helping marketers assess how well they invested to grow their brand and persuade audiences to take certain actions such as endorse a brand, subscribe to a service, or make a purchase.
Tina joined Nielsen 27 years ago, and has held progressive leadership roles around the world. Her last role was Executive Vice President, General Manager of Audience Outcomes product development, engineering, operations & data science.
With over 30 years of experience, Tina actively collaborates as a Senior Deputy and Strategy Officer for the World Economic Forum for Media, serves as Advisor to the Paley Center for Media Los Angeles Board of Governors, is a member of the Advisory Board at Point Loma University and a guest lecturer at colleges across the United States.
She has been a lifelong mentor to many Nielsen and non-Nielsen executives and serves as Executive Sponsor of Nielsen’s multi-generational (N-GEN) and Native American, Tribal, Indigenous (NATIV) Business Resource Groups.
Tina has a Bachelor of Applied Sciences and a Master in Science in Gerontology and Statistics from the University of Guelph, Canada. In 2022, Tina was awarded the Ad Monster’s and AdExchanger’s Top Women in Media recognition for her commitment to mentoring.
Sandra Sims-Williams joined Nielsen in 2020 and currently serves as Chief Diversity Officer. In this role, Sandra leads Nielsen’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) strategy and team.
Sandra is a transformational leader with over 30 years of experience linking DE&I strategies with corporate initiatives. With a background in counseling and talent management, coupled with a passion for talent engagement and fairness, Sandra has always seen a career championing diversity, equity and inclusion as a natural fit. Prior to joining Nielsen, Sandra spent 14 years working for a variety of Publicis Groupe agencies where she ultimately made history by becoming Publicis Groupe’s very first Chief Diversity Officer.
As Chief Diversity Officer of Nielsen, Sandra advocates for the success of all talent while overseeing and championing inclusive and equitable practices, the acquisition of diverse talent, the activation of diverse leadership development programs, the support of a global business resource group network, the furthering of our business diversity (supplier diversity) commitments, the pursuit of DE&I thought leadership and all with a sensitivity to making quantifiable impact. A firm believer in both qualitative and quantitative levers to help drive positive change, Sandra is a high touch leader who believes in and considers herself to be a “servant” leader.
Throughout her career, Sandra has been bestowed with many accolades and awards from across the advertising and media industries and the business community at large. Some of these include being named to the Black Enterprise Top Corporate Executives list, SAVOY Magazine’s Most Influential Women in Corporate America list with added recognitions from Adweek & ADCOLOR. Sandra is also a member of The Advertising Industry’s Diversity Steering Committee and serves on the boards of the Advertising Club of New York and ColorComm. In her spare time, Sandra has also founded Sandra’s Sister Circle which advocates for the advancement of young women of color.
Sandra holds a bachelor of arts degree from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and a master of arts degree from Hunter College in New York.
Jamie Moldafsky is Nielsen’s Chief Customer and People Officer. In her role, she leads the Customer Success, Marketing, Communications and Enterprise HR organization.
Jamie, who joined Nielsen in November 2020, is a seasoned marketing and communications executive with deep expertise that she has honed over 30 years across a range of industries. Before Nielsen, Jamie was a senior executive at Wells Fargo for more than 15 years, serving as chief marketing officer and executive vice president.
Earlier in her career, Jamie held senior leadership and general management roles at Whirlpool Corp., Charles Schwab and American Express. Her global roles spanned marketing and communications and included full profit and loss responsibility (as VP and General Manager of KitchenAid).
Jamie has an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of Michigan. She serves on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco and on the executive committee for No Barriers USA. She is a member of the Ad Council, chairs the advisory board of Wharton Customer Analytics and is a member of the board of Executive Education for Wharton.
Jamie resides in San Francisco, California, with her husband and two children.
Warren Jenson
Chief Financial Officer
Warren Jenson was appointed Nielsen’s Chief Financial Officer, effective in April 2023. In this role, he is responsible for leading Nielsen’s global finance organization and financial activities, including financial planning and analysis, tax, controllership, and treasury. He will also lead the company’s information technology, corporate development, and global strategy functions.
Warren will partner with the leaders of the three business units — Audience Measurement, Gracenote, and Analytics Portfolio — supporting their strategic initiatives while driving sustainable growth for the company.
He is a transformational global leader and has helped lead some of the most iconic success stories of the past few decades: the Must See TV years at NBC, the emergence of Amazon.com as a powerhouse and while at Electronic Arts, video gaming went digital and became mainstream entertainment. Most recently he served as President of LiveRamp, the category creator of data onboarding, identity and data collaboration.
Warren knows how to operate with agility having been both at a Start-up and also having served as a corporate officer in some of the largest companies in the world.
He currently serves on the board of DigitalOcean (NYSE: DOCN), Ripple and Jobcase. He also serves on the National Advisory Committee for the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University and the Board of Leaders for USC’s Marshall School of Business.
Warren holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master of accountancy from Brigham Young University.
George Callard is Nielsen’s Chief Legal and Business Affairs Officer. In this role, he is responsible for leading many of Nielsen’s centralized functions including government affairs, intellectual property, litigation, employment, community affairs, cybersecurity, compliance and integrity, internal audit, technical operations, corporate secretary and mergers and acquisitions.
George has more than 30 years of extensive experience covering a broad range of operational and legal responsibilities. He joined Nielsen in 2019 from Weather Group, where he was the president, responsible for the overall operation and management of the company. He also served as Weather Group’s chief administrative officer and general counsel, where he was responsible for legal, regulatory and compliance matters and all central functions such as human resources and finance.
Earlier in his career, George served as vice president of business and legal affairs at NBCU, responsible for all legal matters affecting delivery and distribution of NBCU content. This included serving as lead counsel for the Olympics, Bravo, Oxygen and NBC Network retransmission consent.
Previously, he had two tenures with AT&T (Ameritech & SBC) as lead video lawyer for Ameritech’s Americast and AT&T’s U-verse services. Before that, he served as senior counsel at the law firm Cinnamon Mueller and as associate counsel for Multimedia Cablevision and Multimedia Broadcasting.
George received his JD from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He has a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree from Union College.
Karthik Rao was named Chief Executive Officer of Nielsen, the global leader in audience measurement, data and analytics, in September, 2023.
Prior to being named CEO, Rao, a 23-year veteran of Nielsen, held a variety of leadership roles across the company and around the world. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Nielsen Audience Measurement, responsible for driving and evolving Nielsen’s core business in the midst of unprecedented disruption and transition. His primary focus was on enabling a currency across all media distribution and consumption models globally.
Rao was named Nielsen’s Chief Operating Officer in 2020, where he oversaw a global product-driven technology transformation. Prior to that, he served as Chief Product & Technology Officer for Nielsen Global Media, where he led the International Media product and technology teams. He also served as CEO of Nielsen Portfolio, leading the fully independent division, comprising Nielsen Entertainment, Nielsen Gracenote, Nielsen Brandbank and the Nielsen Telecom businesses across all global markets. He led Gracenote during its acquisition and integration by Nielsen, which included building Gracenote’s management team, aligning its strategy, and driving growth across key markets and segments.
In his earliest days at Nielsen, Rao held roles in a variety of divisions, including Expanded Verticals, Digital Enablement, and Nielsen’s Media Analytics business. As head of Nielsen China, he led one of the company’s fastest growing global markets.
Rao began his career as an account executive at Ogilvy & Mather in India. He serves on the Board of Directors of Avantax, a comprehensive financial services company. Rao holds a degree in Economics from Loyola University in Chennai and an MBA from Illinois State University.
David Kenny is Executive Chairman of the Board at Nielsen, a global leader in audience measurement, data and analytics. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Nielsen from December 2018 to September 2023 and was the chief architect of the company’s transformation to a digital future. He also led the company through the two most significant transactions in its 100 year history - the sale of its consumer data unit, NielsenIQ, in early 2021 and the sale of Nielsen to a private equity consortium led by Evergreen Coast Capital Corp., an affiliate of Elliott Investment Management, and Brookfield Business Partners L.P. in October 2022.
David has spent his career in data science and artificial intelligence, especially focused on the marketing and media industries. He has a deep and holistic understanding of media and advertisers and how best to serve them, and has been a long time Nielsen customer and partner. David has a proven track record of implementing growth strategies, overseeing strategic transactions and creating value for stakeholders.
Prior to joining Nielsen, David served as Senior Vice President of Cognitive Solutions at IBM. There, he led IBM’s artificial intelligence initiatives, using machine learning to support enterprise customers across a large number of verticals, including healthcare, financial services, retail and media. Earlier in his career, David was Chairman and Chief Executive of The Weather Company, which was acquired by IBM.
He served as President of Akamai, a cloud platform technology company; membre de directoire de Publicis Groupe; and co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Digitas, Inc.
Currently, David serves on the Board of Directors for Best Buy and he is Chairman of the Board for Teach for America. He is also on the advisory board of ANA’s Alliance for Inclusive and Multicultural Marketing.
David received his bachelor’s degree in industrial administration from the GM Institute (now Kettering University) and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
